FontOdyssey operates FontOdyssey at https://fontodyssey.com. This policy applies to the website and product experiences that link to it.

FontOdyssey does not require an account and does not ask visitors to upload font files. Some fonts can be downloaded directly from the site; others link to their official provider.

Each processing activity is listed with its purpose, legal basis, retention rule, and recipients:

• Technical request information, such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs — Purpose: deliver pages, maintain security, diagnose failures, and prevent abuse; legal basis: providing the requested Service and the operator’s legitimate interests in security and reliability, where permitted; retention: only as long as needed for delivery, security, abuse prevention, or applicable legal obligations; recipients: Cloudflare.
• Support messages and contact details that a user chooses to provide — Purpose: respond to support and privacy requests; legal basis: responding to the user’s request and the operator’s legitimate interests in supporting the Service, where permitted; retention: only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable legal obligations; recipients: FontOdyssey.
• consent-based device and product usage information — Purpose: aggregated product usage measurement; legal basis: the visitor’s consent; retention: the period configured by the operator in Google Analytics; recipients: Google Analytics 4.

The Service uses only the browser storage declared below. Optional analytics remains off until consent is granted.

Google Analytics 4 is used only after the visitor grants analytics consent. It processes consent-based device and product usage information for aggregated product usage measurement, relies on the visitor’s consent, and retains that information for the period configured by the operator in Google Analytics.

Service providers may process limited information on behalf of the operator. The Service does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

These providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country. The operator will use the safeguards required by applicable law for those transfers.

• Google Analytics 4: aggregated product usage measurement

Retention is stated for each processing activity above. The Service does not intentionally collect or retain user-provided font files.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable. You may withdraw optional analytics consent using the footer control. Send privacy requests to support@fontodyssey.com.

FontOdyssey is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. The operator does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the Service.

Material changes will be reflected on this page by updating the date above. We will provide additional notice when required by the change or applicable law.
